Oh my God, this Navitimer is wonderful. The 24-hour Cosmonaute on the seven-row steel bracelet gets its proportions just right, and I love the Arabic numerals around the dial and that shade of white on the subdials and outer ring. I look at the whole thing and just think, chef’s kiss.

I’ve always been a big Navitimer fan. Most of Breitling’s other watches don’t do much for me, although the Premier chronograph sometimes gets my attention. The Navitimer has always been the one. I think it’s an underrated luxury watch with an extremely distinctive design, and this version takes it to another level.

The proportions and the dial

Introduced on October 22, 2026, this version joins Breitling’s core collection. The exact watch here is the Navitimer B02 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute, reference AB0230211B1A1. Its stainless-steel case measures 41mm across and 13mm thick, and the bracelet has seven rows with polished and brushed surfaces. This is the steel-bracelet version I’m reacting to.

On this watch, the Arabic numerals are a huge part of the appeal. There’s already a lot happening on a Navitimer dial, and I love how those numerals sit among the subdials and scales. The white against the black looks just right to me. Even the particular shade of white on the subdials and outer ring feels right for the whole watch.

I keep coming back to the complete package. The case, that bracelet, the numerals and the dial all together are what I’m looking at when I say the proportions look perfect in these release images.

A 24-hour Navitimer

The Cosmonaute’s hour hand makes one trip around the dial every 24 hours. Inside is Breitling’s hand-wound Manufacture Caliber B02, with approximately 70 hours of power reserve. There’s a sapphire display back, a bidirectional slide-rule bezel and 30m water resistance.

Breitling traces the Cosmonaute to astronaut Scott Carpenter, who wore one into orbit on May 24, 1962. This new core-collection model also brings back the Twin Jet logo, an emblem Breitling says first appeared on the Navitimer in 1965.

Breitling lists this bracelet reference at $11,000 USD before sales tax, checked October 23, 2026. The US page currently directs buyers to book an appointment, so I’m not treating that listing as a promise of immediate stock or delivery.

I will not be buying it. I don’t have even close to that much money to spend on a watch. But if I could, I would buy this one immediately.
